Keep separate plant records
Use a recognisable name or location for each plant: “desk fern” is easier to find than several entries called “plant”. FloraFlick’s published listing includes personalised watering schedules. Start with the routine you intend to manage and keep the app record clear enough that another household member can recognise the same plant.
Set reminders you can use
Choose reminder times that fit when you are usually near your plants. Check the repeating schedule and the phone’s notification permissions. An alert helps you remember a task, but it cannot measure the soil or tell you what the plant needs at that moment. Make your own check before acting.
Review as your routine changes
When you move a plant, change your household routine or notice that a reminder no longer fits, review the saved schedule. Keep notes about what you changed so you can understand the record later. A tidy reminder list is useful because it stays connected to the plants you actually care for.
